Rum and Bones: Second Tide is the follow up to Cool Mini or Not’s successful first release of the game. Like any big CMON title, Second Tide comes packed with tons of content and of course - loads of cool miniatures!
In Rum and Bones: Second Tide you will take control of either the Deep Lords - a group of mysterious, monstrous individuals who wish to flood the world using the power of Davy Jones’ treasure - or the Marea de la Muerte - a greedy crew of Spanish cutthroats.
Players will control up to five heroes - each with unique abilities - and battle for control of the mythical treasure of Davy Jones. The heroes are broken into classes - Captains, Brutes, Gunners, Swashbucklers and Quartermasters - which all have different ability focuses like ranged damage / melee brute / healers etc.
While you have your unique heroes under your direct control, to help add to the theme and build the intensity of the battle's, Second Tide has a “crew” mechanic where there are also Deckhands and Bosuns. These additions to the battle follow an AI mechanic, hurling themselves upon your enemies. While they aren't always under your direct control, hero powers can command them and make them more useful - so don’t underestimate them.
While Second Tide is first and foremost an expansion to the original Rum and Bones, it brings many new mechanics such as the Leveling System, Basic Attack upgrade system, the Tide Deck, the Kraken and a new Alternating Activation method as well as operating as a full Stand Alone game able to be played on its own or combined with the original.
If you yearn for adventure on the high seas and seek the thrill of strategic pirate combat seeking glory and riches, than Rum and Bones: Second Tide is calling your name!

Massive Darkness is yet another big CMON title set to release later this year. This time, CMON brings us an easy to learn, streamlined dungeon crawler for 1-6 players. Prepare for adventure, as the darkness is massive and full of terror.
In Massive Darkness, evil is rising and the legendary Lightbringers are no longer around to fight off the darkness. Players will take on the role of misfit heroes, battling these evils and attempting to thwart the plans of the evil minions. Utilizing several unique mechanics, Massive Darkness brings loads of content and fun to the table.
As your heroes progress through the campaigns, you will gain new and more powerful equipment as well as new and powerful skills. Massive Darkness introduces a hero progression talent tree in which you will unlock new powers by spending the xp you collect by vanquishing foes. These abilities will remain unlocked through all of your missions, leading to a true hero progression.
In addition, the game features a light and darkness mechanic where you can use light sources displayed on the map to hide from or circumvent opponents, or use these areas to set up an ambush for your enemies. While your enemies follow an AI system, there are different types and classes of enemies, some smarter and more powerful than others, so it may not always be the wisest choice to charge head first into battle. Oh, and did I mention the hordes of enemies you will face? Massive Darkness comes with mountains of spectacular miniatures and you will get the opportunity to face them all throughout gameplay.
If you are looking for a great co-op dungeon explorer that is similar in feel to a tabletop RPG but operates in a streamlined, GM-less way, than Massive Darkness is the game for you!
